Fashion Monday: 1960's

I have an obsession with the television show Mad Men, which has apparently existed since 2007.  I'm not sure how I missed this TV goodness for four entire years.  I love everything about the show (except for the smoking)!  I have never really considered the 1960's to be a central fashion moment in time, but it really was.  Mad Men shows off the phases of fashion, moving out of the ultra conservative 50's and into trousers and form fitting dresses to show off the silhouette.

My favorite thing about these looks is that they are so easily translated into modern day fashion.  I would absolutely wear all of these pieces and still feel stylish.

  1. The best part of "Mad Men" is the fashion, I swear. Oh, and the hot men.
