This show never gets old. Seriously. As with many television series, characters tend to develop a sense of style over the seasons and can be seen wearing clothing that defines who they are. I have been in love with the fashion featured on this show from the start, because I could see myself wearing what Elena and Caroline wear.
Layers, cute dresses and leather jackets are a frequent theme. If a guy is looking a little rough or plain, the solution seems to be to throw a fitted coat on him... they even wear them during the "summer" on the show!
