I'm talking about sweet, deliciously carbonated soda.
Starting yesterday, I have decided that I am giving up soda for one month (and possibly longer if I see that I'm feeling better and having extra positive results).
I'm really going to miss Diet Coke, Root Beer and Ginger Ale.
Omg, I just had the sudden realization that I won't be able to have root beer floats anymore! I think that will be the hardest part.
Why give up soda?
- Stains teeth.
- Dehydrates you.
- Can make you bloated.
- Too much unnecessary sugar.
- Toxins from artificial sweeteners.
- Can lead to weight gain.
Isn't it strange how purposefully telling yourself that you can't have or do something kind of makes you want it more? Anyway, I will allow myself to have soda again on October 13th, if I choose to.
Wish me luck!
You can do it! I rarely drink soda anymore and it hasn't been near the loss I thought it would be.
ReplyDeleteYou can do ittttttttt!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the support! So far, so good. Now if I had to give up sweets... I'd have a HUGE problem with that.
