1. Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream (Full size $95)
This eye cream is supposed to de-puff and hydrate the under eye area with grape extracts and anti-aging peptides. Birchbox tends to send me tons of eye creams, which I love. The only problem is that I can never decide which one I like best.
2. Fix Malibu Wish Wash Exfoliating Powder Wash (Full size $40)
The theme of this months Birchbox is "innovation" and I think that this product is highly innovative. I have yet to try it, but it is a powder that turns into an exfoliant with salicylic acid. I'm very interested to try it since I really enjoy using exfoliators on my face every other day.
3. Twistband Hair Tie (Full size- set of 3- $5)
I was very confused by this product, because it's just a piece of elastic ribbon. Sure, I can use it as a hair tie and it probably won't be very damaging to my hair. But, I don't think that it is new or exciting in any way.
4. Blinc Mascara (Full size $24)
I am really excited to use this product today. The mascara is unlike any other because it forms "tubes" around your lashes, which should make it smudge and water proof. I'll definitely have to tell everyone how this works out, because I think it is just the coolest concept.
5. Atelier Cologne in Orange Sanguine (Full size $145)
This sample of cologne came packaged nicely with a postcard from Atelier. The scent is very fresh because of the oranges, but not exactly fruity. It's more so of a fruit oil scent which is a great change from the usual scents that are fruit based.
Okay, this really may have to be the month where I sign up for birch box.
